Accreditations
We are proud of our accreditations and take seriously our responsibilities in both achieving and maintaining the highest standards possible. You’d expect nothing less from a business critical supplier. We monitor our performance constantly to ensure that our procedures work effectively and your expectations are met. Each time. Every time.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established in 1947 to develop international standards across a wide range of systems, processes and procedures. At PHD we feel it is necessary to ensure certain criteria are established and adhered to for both our clients and ourselves. We revise these requirements regularly and should further accreditations become a requirement for our industry or our clients, we will endeavour to achieve them.
Our Industry Standard Accreditations are:
 |
QUALITY MANAGEMENT PHD first registered for this accreditation in September 1995 and it covers our quality procedures for bulk and specialist document handling including address data management, personalised printing, enclosure and mailing processes and management.

INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT This accreditation covers PHD’s information technology, security techniques and our information security management systems. Basically, it ensures we have all the necessary security and management surrounding our handling, storage and use of data. We view this as a mandatory requirement to ensure our clients have the utmost confidence in our use of their data. |

 |
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT This is PHD’s latest accreditation and it certifies that our environmental management systems meet the required standards expected in today’s environmentally aware society. It is our aim to continually reduce our overall carbon footprint and our impact on the environment and to recycle and re-use wherever possible. |

DATA PROTECTION REGISTRATION Because of what we do with data, it is imperative that we are registered, entry
number Z8715716, with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and thereby
covered under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. This Act covers PHD
and what we can and cannot do with our clients data and similarly protects
our clients to ensure the security of their data. |
